Prepare the essentials before starting your application.
Check your eligibility
Check your nationality and travel purpose against the official eligibility list and instructions. Special passport types and Pakistani nationality or origin require particular attention.
Your passport should have at least six months validity when applying and two blank pages. Each traveller needs a separate passport and application.
Prepare your documents
- A clear copy of your passport biographical page.
- A recent front-facing photograph with a white background.
- For business visits, a business card and details of the Indian company you will visit.
Supporting documents should be in English. Follow the exact fields and file instructions in your application. Contact us before ordering for a medical, conference or other specialist purpose.
Before travelling
Prepare your return or onward travel information. Check that your planned entry point is authorised for e-Visa holders and carry your approved authorisation when travelling.
